Shipping & Returns

Maritime Custom Tackle's goal is to offer the most reasonable shipping and returns policies in the industry. If a retailer's shipping and returns policies read like a CVS receipt, you should strongly reconsider buying from them.

Shipping

Maritime Custom Tackle will gladly ship within the United States and beyond.

Contiguous United States - We are pleased to offer $5.99 ground shipping on orders $0.01 to $149.99 and free ground shipping on orders $150.00+.

Hawaii - We gladly ship to Hawaii. We have found that flat rate boxes are the best method and offer it as a choice.

International - We offer competitive international shipping rates that are calculated according to what you are ordering. If you feel the rate you're quoted is not accurate, we would be glad to look into this further and assess to ensure you're getting the best possible rate. Please note products shipped internationally do not include any import duties or taxes.

Returns

Nothing is more frustrating than a restrictive returns policy that heavily favors the retailer. We will make every effort to work with you to ensure you are happy with this transaction. Returns happen for a variety of reasons and we want to make sure it's a positive experience. 

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with the products you receive, you may return it within 30 days, provided it's unused and in resaleable condition. The ONLY exception to this is with custom orders (please see below).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

If We Screwed Up

If we messed up your order, shipped the wrong item(s) or forgot something, we will make it right. Mistakes happen and we will make an earnest effort to work with you to address. Please do not send the order back to us without contacting us first. Use our contact form and let us know what we messed up. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively with customers and want to make sure we do everything to make you happy. If you do decide to return the purchase, we will pay for the return shipping, due to our mistake.

If You Screwed Up - Buyer's Remorse/Lure Shopping while Drinking, etc.

Been there, done that. Do not call us grumpy. Don't fish the products and request a return within 30 days of the purchase for a refund minus shipping costs and please send back at your expense. Again, we will make an effort to be reasonable, on a case by case basis.

Custom Orders

Orders are considered custom when a customer chooses from a variety of options, such as lure skirts or has made special rigging requests that Maritime Custom Tackle does not normally offer. In those instances, returns are still possible, but we cannot refund the price of the lure skirts or customized rigging as those were specified for the individual angler. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us and we would be glad to address in greater detail.

You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
